Treating dynamic wrinkles on the face can be a challenge because these wrinkles are so much deeper in the skin – sometimes so deep not even the best cosmetic treatments seem to make a difference. That all changes now with the exclusive U.S. release of RHA® Resilient Hyaluronic Acid®, a revolutionary cosmetic treatment that’s turning heads and drawing tons of praise. At Gold Skin Care Center in Nashville, TN we are proud to be the first clinic offering this treatment in middle Tennesee.
What Is RHA® Resilient Hyaluronic Acid®?
RHA is an advanced form of hyaluronic acid, a naturally-occurring acid in the skin that retains moisture within the skin and supports the production of collagen, the protein in charge of supporting skin structure. RHA® Resilient Hyaluronic Acid® is the answer to many challenging aesthetic concerns, including:
- Dynamic wrinkles
- Nasolabial folds
- Expression lines around the mouth
- Chin lines
- Marionette lines
How Does This Treatment Work?
This treatment is administered the same as any other dermal filler, which means through a selection of injections made into the face for the purpose of reducing the appearance of wrinkles, as well as lifting and tightening the skin for a more youthful appearance.
This treatment helps activate the body’s natural regenerative abilities, specifically skin cell renewal, the production of collagen, and the retention of moisture within the skin.
What Are the RHA® Resilient Hyaluronic Acid® Variations?
There are a few variations of RHA that are available to patients. The variation that is selected for you will depend on your unique appearance needs and your aesthetic goals. The RHA variations include:
This filler is intended for the mid-to-deep dermis for the treatment of moderate wrinkles, particularly those around the mouth.
This filler is ideal for the mid-to-deep dermis for the treatment of dynamic or deep wrinkles, especially those around the nose and mouth.
This filler is designed to be injected into the deep dermis for the treatment of the deepest and dynamic wrinkles that cannot be otherwise treated by other fillers or injectable treatments.
Why Is This Treatment Unique?
The world of dermal fillers is vast, and it seems like there is a filler for every conceivable occasion – but this set of dermal fillers truly stand apart from the crowd. There are a few things about these fillers that are unique and innovative. For example, the formula for this filler uses RHA, a type of hyaluronic acid that provides an additional layer of hydration to the skin, along with antioxidants to plump, moisturize, and tighten skin.
This is also the only FDA-approved dermal filler for moderate-to-severe wrinkles. Typically, other dermal fillers are limited to the treatment of mild aesthetic concerns; however, this filler is designed to address mid-to-deep dermis imperfections, particularly dynamic folds around the nose and mouth that can usually only be treated with Botox or cosmetic surgery.
