How it Works
The Venus Viva works similarly to other non-ablative technology, but it combines NanoFractional RadioFrequency and SmartScan technology to control both the heat and pattern of the laser. Its patented pin design creates micro dermal wounds that can be set at varying depths. Since the wounds are so microscopic and targeted, the surrounding tissue is unharmed, but the body’s reaction is that of wound recovery, initiating the production of new collagen to heal the perceived wound. Treatment Time
Thanks to the patented NanoFractional pin technology of the Venus Viva, coverage areas are relatively large, which results in a faster procedure for you – usually 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area. It works for all skin types and there is very minimal recovery time. Many patients are able to return to work immediately! There will be a couple days of moderate redness, akin to a sunburn. Patients can see results in as little as three treatments, but we recommend a full series of six treatments for the best results on the face and eight on body areas such as the neck.
